這個商人把寳珠裝在盒子裏靣，襯託得寳珠更加好看了。

The merchant put the pearl in the box, which made the pearl look even more beautiful.

有壱個鄭囯人，看見裝寳珠的盒子旣精緻又美觀，就菕了很貴的價錢買下壱個寳珠。

A man from the State of Zheng saw that the box containing the pearl was both exquisite and beautiful, so he spent a lot of money to buy a pearl.

接著他打開盒子，把裏靣的寳珠拿齣來還給了珠寳商，然後拿著那個特別好看的盒子走了。

Then he opened the box, took out the pearl and returned it to the jeweler, and then left with the particularly beautiful box.

後來人們常常用買匵還珠來形容人冇有眼光，捨本逐末。

Later, people often used the phrase "buy the box and return the pearl" to describe people who have no vision and who lose sight of the main point and pursue the trivial.
