Who would pass up a free meal? Whether someone gives you a gift card, takes you out to dinner, or you wins the lottery, everyone would love a chance at not having to pay for a meal. Well, wild animals are no different. Going through the trouble of hunting an animal down takes a lot of work. But, for this grizzly bear, he decided to go for the free food.
Grizzly Bear Sighting
The next Instagram video reel brings us to the mountains. This video is shared by the Rogue River Outfitters. This page is dedicated to providing images and videos of animals such as moose, brown bears, fish, and black bears, to name a few. They offer their description of what happened in the video below.
“Savage! Grizzly rips wall off cabin to get at moose meat‼️ There’s not much that can stop a motivated bear. When it decides it wants something bad enough, there’s no amount of wall that will stop it.”
Grizzly Bear Vs. Cabin

At the start of this video, we see a cabin that has a blanket of snow coming down on it. Off to the side of the cabin, see a large grizzly bear that looks like it is attempting to get inside. What we do not know at the start of this video is that this cabin is housing some moose meat from a kill earlier by a hunter.
In just a few seconds, we see the grizzly bear pulling out some moose meat and dragging it out the window! We hear the guy filming say out loud, “There goes a moose quarter.”
One Instagram user commented, “The bear now sees this place as a source for food and it will be back! It now has a new entrance to get in!” And the hunter would be wise to listen to those words. This bear will know this can be a regular source of food for him. Especially free food.
What Do Grizzly Bears Eat?
Grizzly bears (Ursus arctos Horriblis) of the genus Ursus are mammals that live in North America. The interesting fact about grizzlies is that they are omnivorous, which means that they eat both plant matter and meat.
Grizzlies most commonly eat salmon, fruit, and various fish. However, because they eat meat, they are also known to eat prey such as deer, elk, and mice. And, of course, we can add moose to this list.
