The six places worth visiting in Guangdong must be visited before the age of 70
Chaozhou Guangji Bridge
01
Guangji Bridge was first built in the seventh year of the Qiandao reign of the Southern Song Dynasty, in 1171 AD. It has a history of more than 800 years. The entire bridge consists of 30 pavilions, 20 piers, and 18 wooden boats floating together. It is built during the day and dismantled at night, lying horizontally on the rolling Han River. It is one of the four ancient bridges in China and also the earliest open closed bridge in the world.
Huizhou West Lake
02
Huizhou West Lake is a Lingnan pearl embedded in the urban area of Huizhou. Here, there are green mountains and clear waters, towering peaks, red flowers and green willows, and fluttering orioles. If Hangzhou West Lake is a noblewoman, then Huizhou West Lake is a jade from a small family. When Su Dongpo of the Northern Song Dynasty was an official in Huizhou, he left a famous sentence that "there are many wonderful places in the world, and the the Nanling Mountain Mountains and the West Lake in Kuanglu".
Shantou Nan'ao Island
03
Nan'ao Island is the only island crossed by the Tropic of Cancer on the Chinese Mainland. It has the reputation of "Oriental Hawaii". There are 68 kilometers of coastal roads, numerous beautiful lighthouses, and fishing villages full of smoke and fire. The unique natural scenery is intoxicating. You can see the beautiful and suffocating sunrise and sunset without going abroad.
Shenzhen Dapeng Peninsula
04
The Dapeng Peninsula and Sai Kung in Hong Kong belong to the same sea area and are one of the top ten sea viewing destinations in China. It has a coastline comparable to Sanya. The Dapeng Ancient City on the island was a military fortress for China's coastal defense during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is known as the "coastal city, Dapeng is the most". Shenzhen's nickname "Pengcheng" is derived from this.
Shaoguan Danxia Mountain
05
Danxia Mountain is known as the "Red Stone Park of China" and is a representative of the world's Danxia landforms. It is composed of more than 680 red sandstone and gravel rocks that are as colorful as Wodan and as bright as Mingxia, with traces of crustal evolution. Layer by layer, they interweave into a colorful giant painting, which makes people marvel at the amazing craftsmanship of nature.
Zhaoqing Qixingyan
06
Qixingyan is known as the "first wonder of Lingnan" because seven limestone peaks are cleverly scattered on the mirror like surface of the lake, resembling the Big Dipper in the sky, hence it is called "Qixingyan". Step by step, the scenery is everywhere, with lakes and mountains, stone caves, and rippling water, all showcasing its mystery and charm.
