Located in Nelson County, Bardstown, KY, is about an hour west of Lexington. With a population of just under 50,000 people, it was established in 1780. One of the oldest cities in Kentucky, Bardstown became a settlement for those traveling west of the Appalachian mountains after the Revolutionary War. Today, visitors love Bardstown for its small-town charm, history and culture, and bourbon, of course.

Today, Bardstown contains eleven distillery experiences for people to enjoy — the most distilleries in a town within the state of Kentucky. The Bardstown distilleries are major attractions along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Travelers flock to Kentucky to taste and appreciate some of the finest bourbons in the world.
