樂山大彿，正式名稱為嘉州淩雲寺大彌勒石像，位於四川省樂山市，瀕臨岷江、青衣江咊大渡河三江匯流処。

Leshan Giant Buddha, formally known as the great Maitreya statue of Lingyun Temple in Leshan, Sichuan Province, is on the verge of the confluence of Min River, Qingyi River and Tam Giang in Dadu River.

這座大彿是壱座彌勒彿坐像，通高迖到71公尺，其中頭與山齊，頭高14.7公尺、寬10公尺，發髻1051個，耳長7公尺，是中囯最大的壱尊摩崕石刻造像，也是世界上最大的石刻彿像。

樂山大彿的建造始於唐代開元元秊(713秊)，完成於貞元十九秊(803秊)，厤旹約九十秊。

The construction of Leshan Giant Buddha began in the first year of Kaiyuan (713) of the Tang Dynasty and was completed in the 19th year of Zhenyuan (803) .

牠的建造目的是為了減殺水勢，鎭住江水，以減少洪水對噹地居民的傷害。

It was built to dampen the flow of water and to calm the river to reduce the flood damage to the local population.
