Foolish Attempt to Imitate Walking

讲的是一个燕国少年前往赵国的邯郸学习走路的故事。这个故事也告诫人们盲目模仿他人，不仅学不到真正的本领，反而会失去自我。

It tells the story of a young man from Yan State who went to Handan, Zhao State to learn how to walk. This story also warns people that blindly imitating others will not only fail to learn real skills, but will also lose themselves.

相传，燕国有个少年，他听说赵国邯郸人走路的姿态特别优雅，于是决定前往邯郸学习。

According to legend, there was a young man from Yan State who heard that the people in Handan, Zhao State walked very elegantly, so he decided to go to Handan to learn.

到了邯郸后，他发现每个人走路的姿势都不相同，各有特色。

After arriving in Handan, he found that everyone's walking posture was different and had their own characteristics.

但是每个人的姿势都很优雅，看着都想学。

But everyone's posture was very elegant, and he wanted to learn it when he saw them.

于是他开始模仿他们的走路姿势，看他们是如何摆手臂，如何跨步。

So he began to imitate their walking posture, watching how they swung their arms and how they stepped.

他是见一个模仿一个，没有固定的目标。

He imitated one by one, without a fixed goal.

在学了一会后，他的走路姿势越来越奇怪，后面还摔了一跤。

After learning for a while, his walking posture became more and more strange, and he fell down later.

但他没有气馁，然后继续模仿每一个遇到的人走路，今天学这个人的步态，明天又学另一个人的姿势。

But he was not discouraged, and continued to imitate the walking of everyone he met, learning this person's gait today, and learning another person's posture tomorrow.

结果不仅没有学会邯郸人的走路方式，反而忘记了自己原本是如何走路的。

As a result, not only did he not learn the way the people in Handan walked, but he forgot how he originally walked.

最终，他连走路都不会了，只能爬着回去。

In the end, he couldn't even walk and could only crawl back.
