Practice makes Perfect

意思是通过反复练习和实践，就能找到窍门，技能会逐渐提高，干起事来得心应手。

It means that through repeated practice and practice, you will find the trick, your skills will gradually improve, and you will be able to do things with ease.

从前，有一个非常厉害的射箭高手，名叫陈尧咨。

Once upon a time, there was a very good archery expert named Chen Yaozi.

他的箭法高超，几乎箭箭都能射中靶心。

He was an excellent archer and almost every arrow he shot hit the bull's eye.

有一天，他正在院子里练习射箭，围观的人群中有一位老翁，他正专心地卖油，似乎对陈尧咨的射箭技术并不在意。

One day, he was practicing archery in the yard. Among the crowd of onlookers was an old man who was concentrating on selling oil and didn't seem to care about Chen Yaozhi's archery skills.

陈尧咨射了几箭，每一箭都正中红心，围观的人群纷纷鼓掌称赞，只有那位老翁淡淡地说：“这也只是手熟罢了。”

Chen Yaozhi shot several arrows, and each arrow hit the bull's eye. The crowd applauded and praised him. Only the old man said calmly, "This is just a skill you have."

陈尧咨听了，感到有些不悦，心想：“我射箭的技艺这么高，你一个卖油的老头竟然敢这样轻视我！”

Chen Yaozhi felt a little unhappy after hearing this, thinking: "I am such a skilled archer, and you, an old oil seller, dare to look down on me like this!"

于是，他走过去对老翁说：“你凭什么说这仅仅是手熟呢？”

So he walked over to the old man and said, "Why do you say this is just a matter of practice?"

老翁微笑着回答：“我卖油多年，倒油时手自然就熟了。你射箭也是如此，只是你射箭射多了，手也熟了。”

The old man smiled and replied, "I have been selling oil for many years, so my hands are naturally familiar with pouring oil. It's the same with your archery, but you shoot a lot and your hands are also familiar with it."

说完，老翁拿出一个铜钱，放在油壶的口上，然后用勺子舀起油，从铜钱的孔中缓缓倒入油壶，而铜钱竟然一点油也没沾到。

After saying that, the old man took out a copper coin, placed it on the mouth of the oil pot, then scooped up the oil with a spoon and slowly poured it into the oil pot through the hole in the copper coin, but the copper coin did not get any oil on it.

围观的人群再次惊叹，陈尧咨也心服口服，明白了“熟能生巧”的道理。

The crowd was amazed again, and Chen Yaozhi was convinced and understood the truth that "practice makes perfect".

这个故事告诉我们：学习任何一项技能，都需要通过大量的练习才能达到熟练的境界。所以在学习新技能时，也要有耐心，不怕困难，不断练习，最终就能掌握技能，做到“熟能生巧”。

This story tells us that learning any skill requires a lot of practice to achieve proficiency. So when learning new skills, we must also be patient, not afraid of difficulties, and practice continuously, and eventually we will master the skills and achieve "practice makes perfect."
