Once upon a time, there was a child named Kong Rong. He was smart and polite, and everyone liked him very much.
One day, a guest came to Kong Rong's house and brought a large basket of pears.
These pears were yellow and looked delicious. The brothers were drooling.
The second brother said, "Wow! What a big basket of pears." The younger brother sucked his fingers and said, "I want to eat, I want to eat!"
After a while, the mother washed the pears and brought them to the table, saying, "Children, come and eat pears!"
"Haha, eat pears! Eat pears!" The brothers cheered and ran over. The mother said to Kong Rong, "Kong Rong, share the pears with everyone."
Kong Rong picked the biggest pear, walked to his younger brother and said, "Brother, this pear is for you." Then, Kong Rong shared the big pears with his brothers and kept the smallest pear for himself.
Everyone found it very strange. There were so many big pears, why did Kong Rong take the smallest one?
The mother asked Kong Rong: "There are so many pears on this plate, why do you keep the smallest one for yourself?"
Kong Rong said: "I am young, so I should eat the small one. The big pears should be given to my brothers."
The mother asked again: "If according to age, you have a younger brother? He is younger than you, so he should eat the smallest one."
Kong Rong said again: "My younger brother is younger than me, and I am the older brother. I should give the big pear to my younger brother."
After hearing this, the mother said to the children: "Although Kong Rong is only four years old, he is very polite. You should learn from him."
After hearing this, the brothers lowered their heads in shame and rushed to eat the smallest pear.
Seeing the children being friendly and respectful to each other, the mother smiled with relief.
