用英语讲寓言小故事——A Crow Drinks Water 乌鸦喝水

有一天，天气非常炎热。

One day, the weather was very hot.

一只乌鸦飞来飞去，渴得不得了。

A crow was flying around, very thirsty.

它飞了很远的路，现在低空盘旋，想找点水喝。

It had flown a long way and was now hovering at low altitude, trying to find some water to drink.

终于在一个花园里看到一个瓶子，里面有一些水。

Finally I saw a bottle in a garden with some water in it.

"太好了，终于有水了！"乌鸦开心地叫道。

"Great, there is finally water!" cried the crow happily.

它飞到瓶子旁边，就想直接喝水。

It flew to the bottle and wanted to drink the water directly.

但是，瓶子口很小，水也很低，乌鸦的嘴伸不进去，也够不到水。

However, the mouth of the bottle was very small and the water was very low. The crow could not put its beak in and reach the water.

乌鸦试了好几次，都喝不到水。

The crow tried several times but couldn't get any water.

它开始着急了，但乌鸦没有放弃。

It began to get anxious, but the crow did not give up.

它看到地上有许多小石子，突然想出了一个好主意。

It saw many pebbles on the ground and suddenly came up with a good idea.

"我可以把石子放进瓶子里，这样水位就会上升，我就能喝到水了！"乌鸦想。

"I can put stones in the bottle and the water level will rise so I can drink the water!" thought the crow.

于是，乌鸦一颗一颗地把小石子叼起来，放进瓶子里。

So the crow picked up the pebbles one by one and put them into the bottle.

每放一颗石子，水位就上升一点点。

Every time a stone is placed, the water level rises a little bit.

乌鸦继续努力，不停地放石子。

The crow continued to work hard, dropping stones non-stop.

终于，水位升到了乌鸦可以喝到的高度。

Finally, the water level rose to a height where the crows could drink.

乌鸦高兴地喝到了水，解了渴，然后开心地飞走了。

The crow happily drank the water, quenched its thirst, and then flew away happily.

这个故事告诉我们：遇到困难时，不要放弃，动动脑筋，想出办法，就一定能解决问题！

This story tells us: When encountering difficulties, don’t give up, use your brain, think of a solution, and you will definitely be able to solve the problem!
