用英语讲寓言小故事——Mouse Meeting 老鼠开会

很久很久以前，有一群小老鼠生活在一个大房子里。

Once upon a time, there was a group of little mice living in a big house.

每天，他们都很害怕一只凶猛的大猫。

Every day, they are afraid of a ferocious big cat.

大猫总是悄悄地靠近，然后猛地扑向小老鼠们。

The big cat always approaches quietly and then pounces on the little mice.

小老鼠们觉得生活很危险，所以决定开一个重要的会议，来想办法对付大猫。

The little mice felt that life was dangerous, so they decided to hold an important meeting to find a way to deal with the big cat.

会议开始了，小老鼠们七嘴八地说起了自己的想法。

The meeting began, and the mice talked about their thoughts.

有一只小老鼠说：“大猫太可怕了，要不我们搬走吧！”

小老鼠们听了都很高兴，拍手称赞这个好主意。

可是，会议结束前，一只年长而聪明的老老鼠站起来问：“可是，谁来给大猫挂上铃铛呢？”

小老鼠们你看看我，我看看你，谁也不敢回答。

The little mice looked at each other, and no one dared to answer.

大家都明白，虽然这个办法很好，但是太危险了，没有一只老鼠愿意去冒险。

Everyone understood that although this method was good, it was too dangerous and no mouse was willing to take the risk.

最后，会议在沉默中结束了。

小老鼠们明白了一个道理：想法再好，也要能实际做到才行。

The little mice understood a truth: no matter how good an idea is, it must be put into practice.
