很久以前，有一个老木匠名叫盖比特。他用一块木头雕刻了一个小木偶，并给他取名叫匹诺曹。
A long time ago, there was an old carpenter named Geppetto. He carved a puppet out of a piece of wood and named him Pinocchio.
老木匠对匹诺曹倾注了心血和关爱，也希望匹诺曹能成为一个真正的男孩。
The old carpenter devoted his heart and soul to Pinocchio and hoped that Pinocchio could become a real boy.
在一天晚上，有一个小仙女出现在了匹诺曹面前，对着小木偶轻轻一点，小木偶真的动起来了，还能说话。
One night, a fairy appeared in front of Pinocchio and gently touched the puppet. The puppet really moved and could speak.
第二天，老木匠看到非常高兴，“孩子，我的孩子”一把抱起匹诺曹。
The next day, the old carpenter was very happy to see it and picked up Pinocchio, saying, "My child, my child."
然后老木匠把他的衣服卖了，买来课本让匹诺曹去上学，还给他了一个苹果。
Then the old carpenter sold his clothes, bought textbooks for Pinocchio to go to school, and gave him an apple.
半路上，匹诺曹看到了一个马戏团，就去把课本卖了，换了1枚金币，就去马戏团看表演。
On the way, Pinocchio saw a circus, so he sold his textbooks, exchanged them for 1 gold coin, and went to the circus to watch the show.
结果一个狡猾的狐狸看见了，抢走了金币，还把匹诺曹卖进了木偶剧团。
As a result, a cunning fox saw it, snatched the gold coin, and sold Pinocchio to the puppet troupe.
匹诺曹帮老板赚了很多钱，过了一段时间，他终于想爸爸了，结果剧团老板把他关到笼子里。
Pinocchio helped his boss make a lot of money. After a while, he finally missed his father, so the boss of the theater put him in a cage.
就在这时，小仙子出现了，问他为什么没有去上学，匹诺曹撒谎了，然后他的鼻子就变长了。
Just then, the fairy appeared and asked him why he didn't go to school. Pinocchio lied, and then his nose got longer.
他不停地撒谎，可以越撒谎，鼻子变得越长！然后他赶紧承认错误，他的鼻子才恢复成原来的样子。
He kept lying, and the more he lied, the longer his nose got! Then he quickly admitted his mistake, and his nose returned to its original shape.
小仙女看他真心悔过，才把他救出来。然后匹诺曹就赶紧跑回家了。
The fairy saw that he was really repentant, so she rescued him. Then Pinocchio ran home quickly.
当他回到家，只看到一封信，原来老木匠到处找匹诺曹，结果在大海里被鲸鱼吞了。
When he got home, he only saw a letter. It turned out that the old carpenter was looking for Pinocchio everywhere, but was swallowed by a whale in the sea.
匹诺曹就去大海里，找到了睡着的鲸鱼。鲸鱼突然醒了，就把匹诺曹和一些小鱼给吞了。
Pinocchio went to the sea and found the sleeping whale. The whale suddenly woke up and swallowed Pinocchio and some small fish.
匹诺曹和盖比特在鲸鱼的肚子里重逢了。
Pinocchio and Geppetto reunited in the whale's stomach.
然后他们在鲸鱼肚子里生火，浓烟让鲸鱼打了个喷嚏，把他们都喷出去了。
Then they made a fire in the whale's stomach, and the smoke made the whale sneeze and blew them all out.
老木匠把他带回家，原来是小仙女又救了他，让匹诺曹变成了一个有血有肉、真正的小男孩。
The old carpenter took him home. It turned out that the fairy saved him again and turned Pinocchio into a real little boy with flesh and blood.
