Once upon a time, there was a man named Zhang Fei who opened a butcher shop. His business was booming, and Zhang Fei would prepare a lot of meat every day.
In the summer, he put the meat in the well in front of the door, and then used a thousand-pound stone to press down the well mouth, thinking: "No one must be stronger than me."
So he put a note on the stone, which read: Whoever moves the stone will get a piece of meat. He put some other meat on the cart and went to the market to sell the meat.
At this time, a man with a long beard, thin eyes and thick eyebrows happened to come here with a cart. His name was Guan Yu, and he was going to the market to sell mung beans. He was so thirsty that he saw a well and prepared to get some water to drink.
Guan Yu was very happy to see the note on the stone, walked up, and moved the big stone away in one go.
After drinking the water, he cut a piece of pork with a knife, put it on his cart, and then hummed a song to sell mung beans at the market.
The shop assistant saw it and ran to tell Zhang Fei in a panic: "Oh! It's bad, the meat in the shop was stolen by a mung bean seller!"
Zhang Fei jumped up in anger when he heard it. He looked for the mung bean seller in the market. After a while, Zhang Fei saw Guan Yu and found that there was indeed a piece of pork on his cart.
Zhang Fei shouted loudly: "It turned out that you stole my meat, give me back my meat!" Then Zhang Fei walked forward, grabbed a handful of mung beans, stared at him, and crushed the mung beans into powder.
张飞又说道：“你这卖的明明是绿豆粉，哪里是绿豆！你这个大骗子！”
Zhang Fei said again: "What you sell is obviously mung bean powder, not mung beans! You big liar!"
Guan Yu was furious and said: "How dare you come here to make trouble!" After that, he grabbed a handful of mung beans and threw them at Zhang Fei!
Zhang Fei yelled, "You thief, you stole my meat, and now you come here to cheat people! Let me teach you a lesson today!"
关羽说道：“我是看见石头上的字条才割下肉带走的。我看你是反悔了，存心来找茬的！”
Guan Yu said, "I cut off the meat and took it away because I saw the note on the stone. I think you regretted it and came here to pick a fight on purpose!"
The two men made a mess of the whole street. They were so strong that the onlookers did not dare to stop the fight.
At this time, a man carrying straw sandals came forward, grabbed Zhang Fei with one hand and Guan Yu with the other, and separated them in an instant. The onlookers applauded.
Guan Yu and Zhang Fei also admired the man selling straw sandals. After asking, they found out that this man was called Liu Bei. It's true that you don't know each other without fighting!
The three of them got along better and better, and finally came to peach garden, swore an oath to the sky, and became sworn brothers!
